Hello sir

here i got a circuit again





is everything ok in it ?

is it the the right way to supply 5 volts for IR sensor from a 12 volts source ?

previously i got improper designings & i came to know about all that mistakes in this forum only

so i am posting this one
 

It's not O.K. to pullup the TSOP1738 output to 12v (or about 10V). I stopped thinking about the circuit at this point.

yes thats why i posted as i had a doubt there too . . ok rest i got thanks sir
 

The 12V supply voltage is too high for the TSOP IR receiver (6V maximum) and also for the CD4017 in that circuit. Circuit designs from that website have not used datasheet information and simple arithmetic to select supply voltages and component values.

The CD4017 has an output that drives a high current in the LED so its output transistor will become too hot when the supply is 12V.
Two more outputs on the CD4017 drive high currents into the 1k transistor base resistors and these outputs on the CD4017 will also become too hot.

If the supply is 5V or 6V then everything will be fine if the relays have a low current 5V or 6V coil.
 




hmm thinkable , well low current 5v or 6v is not possbile so i have to put a simple amplifier using power transistor for 12v relay . . .
 

What will an amplifier and a power transistor be used for?
Simply use a 5V or 6V regulator for most of the circuit and have the relays and their diodes connected to +12V like they are now.

You forgot to tell us the resistance of your relay coils so we do not know how much drive they need.

Sir here i am removing relay system totally & applying the of 4017 as per my use

now i ve a question that : is it possible to drive IR sensor , 555 & 4017 with a 9volts duracell ????????

just forget the very right side circuitry part just after 4017 & please comment

Why don't you look on their datasheets like we do?
The maximum supply voltage for the TSOP is 6V but they recommend 5V.
The output high voltage of the TSOP will not be high enough.

ya but a compact 6 volt battery is not available as like 9v

either i ll ve to apply 6 volts from a cell assembly or have to design a transistorized power supply circuit with a zener,pot etc (for TSOP) as i got in other post in the forum
 

The original circuit is damaging the output of the TSOP since it pulls the output to a higher voltage (about 10V) than its maximum allowed supply voltage (6V).
The TSOP, 555 and CD4017 should all use +5V or +6V for a power supply.
