hey got an exam coming up and was having issues with solving these questions. I'd appreciate alot if it could be done see the attached picture thnx. ]

The question says to use time domain analysis. I've a nasty suspicion that means he has to use calculus rather than complex arithmetic. Yech.
You are correct. I missed that. It looks like there will be some messy calculus equations. Seems strange to do a time domain calculation for a sinewave source. Rather like using a sledgehammer to drive a nail.

Sorry but my calculus is way too rusty to give good advice on that. :wink:
 

i would advise you to consult "Fundamentals Of Electric Circuits Alexander Sadiku-Mcgraw Hill" ..... easily available as well as perfect for these sort of basic concepts!!!
 

The value of inductor should be given, then u can write time domain equations as follow:
vs(t)=5*i(t)+Ldi/dt+vo (1)
i(t)=cdvo/dt (2)

(1) & (2) --> vs(t)=5*c*dvo/dt+Lcd2vo/dt2+vo (3)

solve the equation (3), find vo, replace in (2), then find i(t)
