pulse amplitude measure

I need to measure pulses that are 2usec wide and coming in at up to 50k/second. I am thinking of using an msp430. Does anyone have an opinion if the msp and adc12 are a good choice or is there something better that I should look at. I am a rookie so please be kind.
:D

Re: choice of microcontroller for pulse amplitude measuremen

Hi Tom

I think as a good idea to use a comperator and a microcontroller timer counter to process your work

You can also use the ADC with comper value ( a hardware function of the MSP430)

All the best

What exactly want you measure?
Want you count pulses, or want your measure pulse with or high or somtings else?
