Chip read data from USB !

Hi all !
What is the chip-µC that I can use it to read data USB flash disk ?
PIC,AVR or FTDT.....
Can you give some link or code for that chip.

Hi,

you can't do that with a PIC. You have to use a usb HOST chip.

with ftdi chip u can connect to pc via usb.
i dont think u can use ftdi connect to usb flash.but i saw many car cdplayer have usb port and u can connect to it usb flash disk.maybe they use mcu or chip that have host controller.
