Hi
I'm trying to build a simple portable speaker. The only power source I can find is an old drill and charger so I have decided to use that.
The specs of the drill power supply are 12.6v 0.5A, which then attaches to a Li-ion charging circuit.
From initial testing the amplifier circuit pulls around 0.6A, so I have bought a new power supply 12.6v 1A. But I would like to be able use the speaker while it is charging. I have designed this circuit would be great to get your opinion on if it would work! Basically threw a couple of diodes in.

I've attached a picture

Thanks Chester

Possible, if the voltage drop of the diodes is ok for your circuit.

Hi
The voltage drop may trip the Low voltage cut off actually? Do you have any other ideas?

Thanks Chester
