Charging and monitoring a lead acid battery using PIC

Hi, can someone suggest a way to monitor the voltage level of a lead-acid battery? I need to input this to a PIC microcontroller and monitor the charge through an LCD display so that i can constantly check its charge level and know if it is fully charged. Please reply. thanks
 

Hi,

Look in the Microchip site, they have loads of App Notes and info on battery charging with pics.
