in Razavis' book "design of analog CMOS IC's" (**broken link removed**) I have been reading about loading effects and how they affect the transfer function of a closed loop system (for example page 273, for a voltage-voltage feedback circuit).
In Kenneth Kundert's publication "the Designer Guide to spectre and spice" (**broken link removed**) I have seen
practical circuits (such as the LC Lowpass based one (page 76)) to measure stability, which don't account for these loading effects .
Middelbrook is presented as a better alternative, but I am not sure whether it can effectively account for the loading effects I have been reading about.
In Kundert's publication it is mentioned that with a with a single injection technique loading at the Amplifier input has to be neglectable for an accurate result(page 77). Furthermore it is mentioned, that a double injection technique addresses the problems of the single injection method(page 79). Does this mean that the double injection Middelbrook Analysis is able to deal with loading and that it is sufficient tool for stability analysis if we assume a unilateral circuit?
