characteristic impedence

Hi,

I am trying to validate the microstrip Z0 that I found using LINECALC through HFSS. So I created a substrate box and a copper box on top of it and then made a air box on top of the copper box. then I assigned waveports to the substrate face and copper face. Then I looked at Z11 after the simulation. How ever it is way different than what I have in LINECALC(ADS). Is there any better way to do this?
what am I doing wrong?

Please help[/code]

Most likely you were comparing Z0 to Z11--the input impedance looking into port 1, which is not the characteristic impedance of the port. Look for the Z0 result from HFSS.
