HI,
I am adding all the signals in component U_2 to modelsim wave window using this command:

add wave sim:/tb_test_hw/uut/U_2/*

Now i want to change the radix of a particular signal, say "out1" to unsigned, from this component U_2. How do i do it from modelsim command line/tcl script ?

I am aware that,

"add wave -radix unsigned sim:/tb_test_hw/uut/U_2/out1"

would change the radix of the signal "out1". Suppose, I use both these commands, then it would replicate "out1" one more time in the wave window and then i had to delete manually the one with binary representation, which i don't want do. So how do i do it with out manually deleting. This might be a trivial issue but i am just curious to know. Thank you.

radix signal
This command sets or inspects radix values for the specified signal in the Objects, Locals,Schematic, and Wave windows.

Code:
radix signal sim:/tb_test_hw/uut/U_2/out1 unsigned
