change old password with out know the old one

hi friends
i had bad situation now, in my office , i have used one computer, one lady had used that pc before me, she had changed the main password and resigned the joband go away without inform that. actually i created one more logging and use it. my problem is, when ever i install something ,it ask the main password, is there any way to know that main password?

I think I've seen ads for utility programs that claim to be able to extract passwords from a computer.

Also, look for slips of paper, attached to the computer or nearby, with words written on them. They might be the password.
