Pls can any one explain how this cfl circuit works ???

I am trying to reverse engineer this circuit. I am not sure how it selects frequency 63 KHZ, how this circuit is designed to provide HV DC for cfl.

pls help.

sorry there is a mistake, the bobbin size is e25.

The circuit's drawn wrong to start with. It looks like Q1 and Q2 are supposed to be an oscillator, but there's no power supplied to them - the collectors and emitters are both grounded at DC. I suspect the center tap on the transformer should be connected to +6V instead of ground. There also doesn't seem to be any feedback to the bases of the transistors.

Aside from that, the output will be AC, not DC. The circuit looks like it's for a CCFL.

rectifier the line voltages
filter them using high voltage polar capacitor.
make a high frequency oscillator (in cfl self start oscillator by feed back winging is used).
amplify this using high voltage transistor like 13001,13002,13003 or 13009.
give these voltage to the chock and convert these into high voltage.
pass these voltage through high voltage capacitor like 1kv or 1.5kv.
then pass this energy ( high voltage and high frequency) through cfl lamp.
your lamp is working now.

sorry, this is the exact ckt. Pls help
