I recently deployed a make design because I could not get one

that performed all features I wanted. ESP8266 based.

Features :

1) Ramp rate of T or gas rise detection

2) Settings for both fire detection and property freeze up detection

3) Alarms via web to phones

4) Absolute limits as well as rates

5) Multi gas/smoke

6) Dual using off the shelf smoke interfaced to main design

7) Multiple person notifications

8) Daily state reporting and reboot

9) Logging

I will soon add object IR T detection and possible wood stove control of

damper and incoming air supply, exit stack monitoring. Possible simple

learning capability. Other capabilities under consideration.

All of the above not rocket science, but effective.
