la1186n schematic

Hi,
Anybody has a link for scematics/plan for a simple Car Radio Frequency Converter to be use on Japanese standard radio..76-90mhz to 88-108 mhz?

As both ranges overlap you should be able to re-tune from one to the other without a converter ..

Well.. better said than done..
But I don't have any idea what to tweaks..what coil to expand..

Other option is to build a mixer and add 10MHz to the lower band and filter out the F-10MHz product leaving only F+10MHz.
This can be done, for example, with dual-gate MOSFET or off-the-shelf mixer IC su as this: **broken link removed**

I found a similar circuit using a 9 pins SIP IC I suspected it is iether LA1186N or TA7378.. All the ceramisc capacitors values has been ERASED including the parts number of the IC.
I'll trace the schematic and post it here..

As promised..looks here's the circuit..with some values of capacitors ERASED by the manufacturer..
