ultrasonic car alarm frequency

hi
as you know many car alarm systems use ultrasonic sensors.
when you lock the doors ,the act as radars.
I thought we might be able to trigger the car alarm without even touching the car:
If we send some ultrasonic pulses from outside the car ,the equilibrium might be disturbed so the alarm turns on.
since the sensor scans a particular frequency we have to sweep a range of frequncies like 20KHz ~ 100KHz.
This can be done using the output of an AVR timer.
do you agree ?
