Hi,

I'm trying to use the SLPS interface with OrCAD 16.0 and Matlab 7.0 or R2012a (or any Matlab version). My OS is Windows 7 (64 bit, but Matlab 7 should be 32 bit).
I created a very simple simulink mdl file with an SLPS block and I followed the slps user guide in ...\doc\slps\slpsug.pdf
Anyway, when running the simulation, I get the error below (see the screenshot):

which is a problem with the slpsblk block. I think Simulink cannot initialize it.
I can run slpslib but when I try to run the examples I get the same error.
I googled it but I could only find (creating a new environment variable) but this didn't work for me.

Some users of edaboard had the same problem, but I can't understand what the solution is (if it is a solution), e.g. here:
https://www.edaboard.com/threads/253922/

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I have the same problem.
Did you solved the problem?
May I ask you to help me?
Thanks

Both these posts are for OrCAD 16.5 - since you are using OrCAD 16.0, you are facing a different issue. That is why the env variable solution will not work for you.
Do the sample designs in PSpice installation work for you? If they do, then the problem is with the module that you created.
Can you upload your Matlab model with the associated files?
