The Vector Canalyser used to analyse CAN networks uses CAPL scripts...I want to learn it..but Vector's site does not seem to have any free resources...so request anyone who may know about any....thanks in advance.
You can download Canalyser from Vector. It will run in demo mode without the can interface hardware.
You can then use the help files, which contain descriptions of all the calls in Capl.
There's a pdf I have at work which I think is a pretty late version of all the functions available.
Regardless, if you are new to CAPL, I highly suggest reading attachment jkkong posted. This is what I used to learn CAPL, and I was able to pretty much master it within a few days. If you know C, then you'll be able to get started really quick!
pk_volt, thanks for your advice.
I have overview it to search sth. about NM simulation.
I have found the capl fuctions are very comprehensive and very useful, but Node layer DLL not specifically explained. I am confused.
I have to ask a friend, she told me read the NM addon of the CANoe and set up a database with template contain word NM.
So I can start now. Thanks for all your help!
