i cant seem to get my simulation right. having trouble in the conversion of dB to Watts and back.
if i want to calculate the capacity of af and df then the formula would be:
C_af = W/2 * log2(1+ SNRsd + ((SNRsr*SNRrd)/(SNRsr+SNRrd+1)))
C_df = w/2 * min{log2(1 + SNRsr), log2(1 + SNRsd + SNRrd)} , respectively
where im having difficulty understanding is the capacity formula requires the snr values to be in watts not in dB.
So do i individually convert SNRsd(dB), SNRsr(dB) & SNRrd(dB) to watt then apply it to the formula?
or, (SNRsd + ((SNRsr*SNRrd)/(SNRsr+SNRrd+1))) (dB) to watts?
or SNRsd (w) + ((SNRsr*SNRrd)/(SNRsr+SNRrd+1)) (w)?
