series resonant frequency

Im looking to design a series LC BP Filter to Pass my Local Oscillater (LO) freq. at 2300MHz.

L= 3.3 nH
C=.67 pF

As I'm looking at capacitors I see specs on "series resonant frequency".

Is the "series resonant frequency" spec a parameter that I need to consider in my application or will any general puprose capacitor work?

how the capacitor works at frequency

yes, obviously you have to consider the series resonant freq of the capacitor. if your freq is higher than that SRF, the capacitor works more like an inductor. hope it make sence.

Hope you have a gd grasp on the reason why SRF was provided for inductors as well as capacitors.
