It is a solution of simple capacitance decade. It gives a possibility of rapid selection of capacity during the construction of prototypes. The device was made of SMD capacitors, adjusters of BCD code, pieces of universal board and HEADERS.

Construction is simple, as shown in the pictures. Each grade consists of capacitors connected in parallel via further contacts of the code adjuster and so far for 1 grade – 1 capacitor, for 2 grade – 2, for 3 – 4 and for 4 – 8 capacitors, so 15 capacitors are needed for one grade.
Rails for connecting the further grades of the decade were made of HEADER sockets.
You can create a decade of range:
- from 1nF to 999nF
- from 10nF to 9uF
- from 100nF to 99uF
- single decade (perfect when building prototypes on universal contact boards)
