i have recently installed windows server 2008 r2 on a desktop with an intel core i3 2100 cpu 3.1 GHz. The mother board is DH61WW__

prior to formatting the old windows, i had checked the name of the built in network's driver. The name is intel(R) 82579V gigabit network connection.

When i searched the intel's site for driver, they have stated that this driver is not supported by intel.
I tried the other sites through google, but none seem to hold the driver. Some have the driver, but they are not designated for the windows server 2008 r2.

i have spent hours on it.

I can spend more hours if someone can provide genuine hint.
