Can you implement wireless sensor network using Matlab?

hi
i am working on a project on wireless sensor network
can anybody tell me that is it possible to implement it by using MATLAB only
or i must first learn ns2 or any oter language

Are you planning to simulate PHY layer? Then MATLAB could be a solution.
But if your project is for simulating network layer or MAC layer, then NS2 is
the solution.
