can you hlp in designing this type of comparator

Hi

I would like to design a comparator which gives output 1 if input voltage is greater then 3 or o if less then 3. how to design this

Do you have to use just basic circuit elements (resistor, capacitor, transistor), if not you can use lm331 or other lm series. Samples are included in the datasheets
 
How about lm series ? they are easy to use.
 

i am working on a project converting the human circulatory system to a circuit and simulating it. So for that I need to modify the valves which has the characteristic of above, and condition of this project is no using of IC's
 

You should use bjt transitors or fet transistors, you can search on google sorry I cant remember electronic course very well :(
