Can we create our own environment variables and link it with .dbc file?

Hi,
What is the purpose of environment variables in CANoe or CANape..?
Can we create our own environment variables and link it with a database file(.dbc).
And what are the uses of env variables..?
If you have any docs on env variables..please upload it..

env variables(CANoe)

Env variable are just interface between your Panel and CAPL.
We can create our own env.var and link it with database.
