Can voltage in High Frequency system be higher then excitation voltage?
Specifically,
For excitation I discharge capacitor initially charged to 1000V.
The system is a resonator, with several modes, with some gas in it, ; capacitor connected through length of transmission line, and there is a switch.
Closing the switch creates a pulse.
Can voltage anywhere in such system be higher then initial voltage in the capacitor?
 

Thank you, you are correct. Voltage in the middle of series resonant circuit can be infinitely high in theory ... I forgot about it.
