Yes. Vitesse has had an integrated MSM photodiode + Transimpedance amplifier products for short-wave applications for a while.

There also has been work on integrating a long-wave photodiode with a preamp. I've attached a paper showing an example of such work. The paper is titled:

"InP�InGaAs Single HBT Technology for Photoreceiver OEIC�s at 40 Gb/s and Beyond, " by D. Huber et. al., JOURNAL OF LIGHTWAVE TECHNOLOGY, VOL. 18, NO. 7, JULY 2000.
