Hi,
I am designing a RF power amplifier. I use Cadence but it seems that there is little material about RF power amplifier in Cadence. Now I intend to switch to PSIM. I am wondering if PSIM supports RF power amplifier simulation. My power amplifier operates at 1.5GHz.
Can anyone who used PSIM give me some advice? Thanks.

PSIM is mainly used for the Power SIMulation. U will not be able to find rf modules in PSIM.

better try for something else like Simulink's RF blockset or other software.

Thank you, electroM.

I have Cadence but I can't find examples about RF power amplifier tutorials at transistor level. If you know about that please let me know.
Could you list some other software for RF power amplifers? Maybe it is easier to find tutorials included in these software.

Sorry Osawa_Odessa my work mainly in the field of Embedded Programming & Designing, & in VHDL programming.
I know about PSIM because I recently worked on some Power electronics controlling.

about RF I have little or NO Knowledge.

Cadence design examples are very few as you said but you can inspire by some examples of ADS and MWOffice..
The better is to create your own circuit based on design principles of PAs.In this way, you understand the design fundementals better.
