Can I use PacMan ROM for PacMan arcafe FPGA project?

Someone tried those pacman arcade fpga projects?

Wanny try that one for cyclone devices...at least the design fits into an ep1c3 (o;

How about the pacman roms? Can I use any pacman ROM then which is meant for emulators? Or does someone has a complete binary image of those?

If you need the binary files of pacman eproms, I can get them for you.
The only trick is there were quite a few rips of the pcb, so there are are a few versions.
The original had a coupla eproms,the rips have one eprom.

By the way,just as a matter of interest,the original pacman pcb was also used for a coupla other games,egengo.
Just thought if you can emulate pacman, the other games which used the pacman pcb will also work!!

Seems the design uses an external eeprom with 32kbytes in total...when all original proms are combined together..think they were 4kbytes or something...

You can pm me for the roms or the links (o;

I will organise the roms for you tomorrow.
How do you know what order to put them in,or does the emulator auto-detect a signature at the beginning of each rom??

Really don't know yet (o;

Emulator only takes 1 image..as does the fpga board...

Have to dig some docs on the web how the machines were organized with ROMs...got one single image so far for testing...keep you updated on that as well (o;

Oki...the basic program ROM works fine on the Cyclone Nios board...

Only the WAV and CLUT ROMs are missing...nobody has them or knows where to get them?

Hmm...and what abour your ROMs "raticus" ?

Have just been too damn busy this weekend, and today is a holiday here.
