Can I use matlab to encode a video stream?? How??

Hi all

I want to encode my video stream by MPEG-4 encoder and see the performance of MPEG-4 by using Error Resilience Tools over wireless channel.....

So anyone have any idea how can I design encoder and decoder for MPEG-4 by Matlab???

Or I have to use C/C++ ???

Any packages, examples, technical report will helpfull..

MPEG4 reference source code (both encoder and decoder) is available in C if you just want to encode your video stream. You can google it.

I believe the latest version of the source code is JM9.4.
