they have the same 1.5v but i think the current is different?
will i damage the device if i use a C cell battery instead of an AAA battery?
or is it no problem and my device can last longer?

Your circuit determines what current is drawn from a battery or power supply. Any battery or DC power supply will work without damaging your circuit as long as the voltage is correct.

You can safely use any size 1.5V cell - AA, C, D, etc. The greater the current rating of the substitute cell, the longer it will keep your circuit operating.

thank you for the clear answer.

yes you ca nuse the c batter ybecause the circuit determines the current, only differant between AA,AAA,C,D is the amp hour rating, of course the bigger the battery the longer it lasts.
