hfss distributed memory parallel

Hi,
My question is:Can HFSS do parallel computing? And if it can, than how to setup?

I am using HFSS to simulate some complicated models. Since its big dimension, it takes a large number of time. Sometimes, HFSS says: Insufficient Memory. But, I have already used 4G RAM. Well, maybe parallel cmputing is a good sollution.

hfss parallelization information

I have found that HFSS V10.0 can use distributed analyze function to realize parallel computing. But, I have no idea about the setup. I will be appreciate your help.

v10 features a Queue. You can start several Simulations, and they are solved one after the other. This is useful to let the PC work over the weekend.
If you do two simulations in parallel they will take twice the time.
Anyhow, a normal one-user license enables one solver to run at a time. To start two solvers by the same time (or overlapping) you also need a different license. Ask the sales representative how this works.

For large model setups consider the usual tips carefully:
Use symmetrie-planes, approximate round edges with polygons, use "solve inside" only when you really need it, and so on.

I use v9.2. Under Options/HFSS Options/Sovler, you can specify the number of processors and RAM.
