I have a P2 or P3 dell desktop with ~122MB of RAM

It has Fedora core 3 as the operation system and I"m supose to keep it online with my router through a cat5 cable for a radio club to use IRLP application
But Since it is eating up power and deskspace. I want to use it.

Any ideas on if Linux could run multipe programs...specificly a modern broswer like FireFox or Opera?
Any suggestions?

Thanks

see this page and it mentions the running applications in different versions of Fedora
https://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=fedora

if u update the ur linux then it would install the latest supported browsers

definitely linux can run all these modern browsers :D

and depending upon ur linux distribution, it may insall whatever browser u want either opera, chrome, firefox and even internet explorer 6/7 can work on linux

so I take that to mean Fedora 3 can't do what I want

but all I need is a newer Linux Distro, then a newer Linus distro can do what I need

thanks
