CAN cable,termination,bus protection

Hello

Can I use CAT5( computer network cable) for can bus with 100 ohm terminators? this cables have 100 ohm impedance thus we should use 100 ohm resistors as terminator.
Which type of cables are suitable for CAN bus?
How we can protect CAN bus from transient voltage? Can we use TVS? which TVS parts are the common ones in CAN buses applications?

I have used their ESD protection parts for an outdoor RS-485 net, very similar to CAN. Also you can find there very good meterial about protection.
