Can anyone provide help for Synopsis STAR-RCXT

Hi,

I am a complete newbie to this tool. I just know that the design kit that I use supports Star-RCXT to extract parasitics.

I have tried going through the documentation but somehow I cant get it working.

The kit has scripts that make the command file for Star-RCXT but some how the setups of the kit for calling Star-RCXT are screwed up.

Star-RCXT fails and says:

WARNING: StarXtract
WARNING: GDS SEED PROPERTY ORIGINAL is not set in query file.

ERROR: StarXtract
ERROR: Can not open file
ERROR: */STAR_RCXT/initDir/AGF/LL5X30.devtab

I was wondering if someone has a idea about the command file that is used by Star-RCXT.

I use calibre to do LVS.

When I go through the Star-RCXT gui it reads that i need some files like DEVTAB etc. Does anyone have an idea about how to generate this files externally. I have no idea what this Devtab file is and have no idea where is it dumped and when and how calibre generates it.

Any kind of help is appreciated.
