Can a RAM - Rechargeable Alkaline Manganese- battery be charged with NiMh charger?

If a RAM - Rechargeable Alkaline Manganese- battery can be charged with NiMh charger,
How safe and efficient is it compare to native Nimh bat.?
Otherwise what is the adversity if we still charge it in NiMH charger.
 

For robustness, nicad and NIMH are hard to beat. They tolerate a moderate amount of abuse. Inexpensive chargers are sufficient.

Rechargeable alkalines appeared on the market 20 yrs ago but did not become popular. Customers were supposed to buy a special charger for them.

Every battery has its own preferred charging parameters
and the NiMh charger is probably not ideal, but also likely
to work "well enough" - provided that you take some care
(like, remove batteries after charged and before cooked)
and maybe spend the time to determine what that really
is.

"Back in the day" we used to have chargers that would
work on carbon-zinc batteries (for a few cycles) but
would make an alkaline "lose its lunch" pretty quick.
The rechargeables I suppose have a better case
design. But having gone through a few sets of the
(purportedly) rechargeable alkalines, I'd skip them.
Low capacity, low cycle life.
