matlab callerid

hello;
i have a project about calling identification. i'll use a dsp processor. signal will be demodulated by a dsp kit and i'll have serial bit. i have to write a program with mathlab to describe the signal. how can i do it . i don't have enough knowladge about mathlab, which command i should use. if you help me,i'll be glad.

it would be great if u interprett a bit more that what u r actually looking for.is it any simulation or realtime /simulink .atleast one can understand problem and the possible way of sol can then only be suggested
