Can I know a bias point of a steady state oscillator without using simulators?

It moves along the loadline until the oscillator reaches a steady state,
but I don't know which direction it moves.

Can I know a bias point of a steady state oscillator without using simulators?
The bias point is a small signal parameter. When the oscillator amplitude is limited according to the circuit properties, the average current is most likely shifted. But the average (DC) current observed in large signal operation isn't designated a bias point to my opinion. It can be expected shifted towards the midpoint of the usable load line. Determination of the exact DC current would require a simulation, however.
