calculation of beta ratio in SRAM

Hello there !

I was just wondering why pmos is not used in calculating the beta ratio of SRAM ?

Hi..

Actually the pmos ratio to the pass transistor is named as Gamma Ratio.

and nmos ratio to the pass transistor is named as Beta ratio.

These are just conventions and used to characterize the SRAM operation.
