Cadence tools with kernal 2.6.0 Redhat VS Mandrake????

looking forward to the 2.6.0 kernal, will either upgrade to the new mandrake or redhat though I think redhat is filling up with alot of baggage and people say v9 is feeling slugish compared to the mandrake counter parts. I will be running the Cadence IC 5 but I hear there are problems with this even in mandrake 9.2 and redhat 9 so I assume the problems will be in the new versions.

Will anyone be using the Cadence tools on these platforms if so what will be better to use, iam leaning to Mandrake for better hardware support and speed as for the sluggish performance in Redhat 9 will the next Redhat be worse I dono.
