cadence tools for solaris

Hi,
I am about to install Products such as IC5033, PSD151 etc from Cadence on to a server running Solaris/SPARC 9. I am quite comfortable with the bare product installation procedure of using installscape. But how do I set it up to be license and application server ? There are several other Sun/SPARC machines in a diff lab that would be accessing the server to run the software, all running Solaris 8(can be upgraded to 9). How will the terminals access the server ? Is there any specific logon procedure or any script to obtain the license from the server ? How will the applications run ? Would the terminals have to SSH or anything ?
Please help, I am a newbie.
Thanks a lot,
Salil Wadhavkar.

solaris cadence lisence server

You can use the other Sun/Sparc workstation login in your server with X-windows.(XDM).

license often be locked by hostid,if your license is floating, you can use your server as a license server, then setup LM_LICENSE_FILE port@host.
