This is the image which I have attached (link above) can anyone tell me how to create this in Virtuoso Cadence software? I mean is there any symbol in the library or do I have to create a component of it using PMOS and NMOS. Suggest me the design to create it so that I can get this symbol with an input, an output and 2 control signals.

1. Make you schematic with all pins.
2. From Virtuoso Schematic window: Create-Cellview-From Cellview.
3. In new window (Virtuoso Symbol Editor) you can make any shape of symbol which you want using menu Create-Shape.

In cadence, there are many symbols are there which are given by the PDK...

Thereis no specific symbols or instances available in cadence...

You have to make your own symbol in the cadence virtuoso window..

First ,

1}Create the schematic as your design specification..

Then 2} give pin names for input output and powersupply (input/output). click 'P' for pin options. It is very impotant to specify the direction as INPUT, OUTPUT or INPUT/OUTPUT.
3} then in "create" -> Cell view -> from cell view

4}you have to specify your pins location... in the small window after clicking " FROM CELL VIEW"

5} A symbol editor window will open...

6}you can create shape and you must cover all the pins by the red box in the window..

7}Now you can use this symbol in your next circuit design..

All the best..
