psfbin

Does anyone know anything about the psfbin format that spectre saves the simulation data to (i.e. like tran.tran files, etc...) ??

I know it's a closed format, but I'm sure someone out there has done some reverse engineering on it..

spectre psfbin

Waveview from Sandwork can open standalone spectre generated simulation data. But if the spectre is invoked within the Cadence ADE, waveview can not open the resulted siulation data. even though the netlist is the same one.

psfbin spectre

It's probably because cadence forces the format to be psfbin )or ssp for the new version... Standalone you can make the format others that are more open.
