Hi,

I found that i can perform post-simulation by setting up the config view or just simply insert the extracted view to the simulation envirment.
Am I doing the same thing? What is the different?

As long as you choose the same simulator, you are doing the same thing.

config view allows you to choose between the different views to use for simulations like spetre, schematic, verilog .. or even extracted. So its the same as long as the view to use for sim is extracted. However I am not sure with wrt to mixed signal simulations (i.e for the Interface elements)

not use cadence
use starsim star_rx so on and so force
to do the post-sim

It is very convinient by insert the extracted view for postsimulation.
