Cadence LDV 3.3, 5.0, 5.1 crashes Orcad 10.0

Hey I was wondering if anyone can confirm if this is a bug or just my computer has the problem.

Synopsis: Cadence Logic, Design, and Verification (LDV) 3.3, 5.0, 5.1 crashes Orcad 10.0


Platform affected: Orcad 10.0, Orcad 10.0 with SP 1.1, Orcad 10.0 with SP 2.0
O/S Type; Windows XP with SP 1a


Description of problem:

While completing steps in the tutorial for Xilinx FPGA project flow, (**broken link removed**), Signalscan crashes the Orcad Capture while either expanding signals, (LDV 3.3) or while selecting signals (LDV 5.0, 5.1). Orcad Capture displays the error message, "Exception access violation error".

then my orcad bug, problem could b unable the run the pspice A/D....

i build up the circuit using the gate....AND, OR, NOT, XOR, ETC.....after i build up those circuits.....when i run the pspice A/D...error occur....it state tht digital simulator require,,,,,i tot the pspice A/D is to simulate tht digital desgin....
still dunno y it happen like tht....if its not for digital design,,,y the lib there contain those GATES....

so do u hav any good replacement for it.... i already quite used to it,,,even there is sometimes when there is error or crash like memory exceptions....but it is tolerable,,,not happen really frequently....

how bout "Electronics Workbench Multisim v7.0" or "CircuitMaker 2000 Professional Edition b4".... it quite inconvenient and use lots time to start learning new stuff...

Just to let you know the bug was fixed in orcad 10.3. The problem was when you select signal in c*dence LDV it communicated with Orc*d Capture schematic, by highlighting the signals which didn't seem to work with 10.0.
 

orcad layout screen saver

Hi,
I have used orcad 9,2 for four years and he has given a bag to me of problems. Memory that when it took part screen saver the layout closed...
