Cadence beginner needs help to create a symbol

Hello,
I would want to create a symbol in Cadence with Part developper but I can't access to the symbol editor.
I use the Part developper Tutorial (chapter 9).
Does nyone could help me ?

frist open Allegro editor and select new then select Package symbol as Drawing type
you can use wizard or create it manual

to create it manually you must add the flowing items
1- add text in silkscreen layer
2- add line to package geometry>silkscreen top
3- add pad from from layout menu >Pin
4- add shape on Package Geometry>place bound top .... allegro will generate DRC Error when two Place bound shapes from two component over laped
