cadence 16.5 designstudio error

Hello,

I have problem to start up designstudio, it gives the following error:

error(LMF-10001)l

ic_error LMF-10001

License call failed for feature allegro_auth_multistyple_opt

the license path is defined as
C:\cadence\licensemanager\license.dat. the flexnet error message is as follows,
Flexnet ERROR(1,234,0): Cannot find license file

Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

I am using cadence 16.5 on windows 7

How long have you been using it on this computer?
Does the license file exist at that location?
Where is the program installed to?

i have been using it for over 3 months or so and all other features are working expect the designstudio, the path to license file seems correct
