whenever I build a simulation in Proteus I can always attach the assembly file and run the simulation.

Whenever I try the same with the c program I can never see the file to attach even thought is sitting in the correct folder.

I need specific help. Please

Don't know what's your compiler toolchain? You'll load a *.cof file with debug information instead of a *.hex file in Proteus, it works well with Microchip and CCS C.
