bulk capacitrs selection and advantages

Hi all,

I am working on the designing dc -dc converter design form the LDOs can any one let me know what for bulk capacitros are used (ripple vloltage,ripple current reduction) and how to select the bulk capacitros values for the design.
can any one share the applciation notes or any materuial on bulk caps...... and LDO (low dropout )design.

The selection of bulk caps depends on the application.
I don't think there is big difference between decoulping caps and bulk caps, only difference is the frequency, at which the caps function.
Also the calcaulation is not useful as experiment to determin the value of capacitance.
