Dear All :

I will design a regualtor using switching method , Does anyone have
this experiments , can you give some hint or doc . I am a newer for this topic , Thanks

Try this book.

Equations related with buck converter are revealed in this book. All the stuff is for an ideal converter.

Take a look to the app notes at www.national.com and to their switching regulator simulator. It could be a nice way to test what you'll read.

Try this:

Can you offer more detail imformation about you application,so i think i can give you more useful imformation.

Dear alphi :
Thanks Your help . I work on Buck regulator , I need high efficient structure , so that I want to use syn PWM regulator , My input voltahe is 3.3 ~ 5v , and my output is 1.8v / or 3.3 when Vin is 5v . and I will design the reference is 0.8v ~ 1v , I don't decide it , My BGR is 1.23v . I need some paper / thesis / shematic for this application , Thanks

Ti's SWIFT serials dc-dc chip are satisfied with your demand, such as Low Input Voltage 3A Synchronous Buck Converter with Adjustable Output Voltage TPS54310.

ynhe

first ,if you use buck regulator,If input is 3.3V,then 3.3V output is difficult.
I think you can use buck-boost(flyback) topo,or use sepic topo.

i also design a buck regulator.i design the pwm by myself.

i am gonna design a buck converter too. i think i will build a pwm circuit using IC555. also i will simöulate it on matlab-simulink.later i can share it here.

hi,

maybe this link is useful to you:

it's a recently launched web chip selection tool by national. try it with your design specifications.

i think the voltage regulator tech is very mature now. normally, in a regulator datasheet we can find all the detail information that we need to consider during the design process. good luck
