i am doing robotic vacuum cleaner....and i need two voltage source for my circuit...is it possible for me to build a buck converter with two output voltage?

ya it is possible to make multioutput buck converters.... what is your spec....

i need two voltage source with 9v and 5v respectively

what is your input supply voltage...

the main idea is to couple the switching signal two sections which have their passive components value such that they give the desired output....

my input voltage will be 9v...is it possible?
and i am thinking of doing voltage regulator?which one is more suitable for my case?

according to me voltage regulator is a better idea... because you will be having lesser noise and lesser protection circuitry requirements.... but since your supply voltage is just 9V it is hard to satisfy the requirement of headroom voltage for the 9V supply that you require....
