Hi friends ,
I am using an inductor of 150uH with 4700uf DC cap in input as well as output capcitor in a 5KW buck converter .
But i am not getting proper current wave at inductor the waveform of current is distorted and inductor is making noise . the core is vibrating severly . Is it due to over capacitance or anything alse ? please help me

Hi,

What waveform?
Is it a sinusoid output? If so, then a 4700uF DC capacitor is the wrong selection.

I do not know exactly about tesla, and yes there is no dc current through inductor .

Current waveform distorted means " It is not Linearly rising and falling ".......in what shape....
